LEGO Bionicle: Kohrak (8565)

|
The Bohrok, a race consisting of six insectlike species that use elemental powers, add to the mythological
story of the Bionicles. The Kohrak are the Ice Bohrok, who can freeze whatever they touch. While they can react as a group,
they prefer to fight one on one, making it easier for the Toa to capture them. This 40-piece Bionicle kit uses a system of
ball-and-socket joints, pegs, gears, and machinelike body parts for assembly. A lever just behind the back of the head
can be pressed to make the top dome lunge forward--a simple but incredibly cool effect. The completed Kohrak stands solidly
on its own, offers a variety of offensive or defensive poses, and can be suspended in its container when not in battle. Complete
but no instruction book. Retired 2002 manufacture.
Ice Slizer (8501)

|
At the start of the later LEGO Bionicles series, each of the eight Technic SLIZER mini-kits stood alone as great little
transformable robot figure with a unique theme, color, and their own 'belt pack' carry case. Like Transformers, the robots
converted into a fantastic vehicle, jet, or submarine and each kit had its own 'throwing disc' -- a kind of robot frisbee.
Figure itself is complete with carrying case but is missing the original box and the throwing disc is not
included. Also, original instructions are not included but color printed picture instructions from Lego have been added.
Retired 1999 production -- No longer available as these original kits are a piece of LEGO transitional
history.

Pohatu was released 3 times. In 2001 as a Toa Mata, 2002 as a Toa Nuva, and again as a Phantoka in 2008, each time as a
canister set. Pohatu Mata as a set's weapons were spikes that went on his feet, and when you turned a gear on his back, his
leg would kick. As a Toa Nuva, he was equipped with Nuva Armor and claws, which could be formed to create the Kodan Ball.
As a Phantoka, Pohatu had a Midak Skyblaster and weapons that tripled as propellers, claws, and drills. Pohatu wears the Kanohi
Kakama, Mask of Speed. In the first story arc, he collected five masks, and combined them to make one gold one. As a Toa Nuva,
his mask was not gold. When Pohatu transformed into a Toa Nuva, his mask became a Kakama Nuva. Complete with instruction
manual but is missing the rock he kicks. This is the Retired 2001 manufacture.
